About the Position

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will guide customers through the complete vehicle purchasing process for new and used vehicles. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the dealership’s sales objectives and long-term customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers at the dealership in Rouyn-Noranda and assess their needs (budget, lifestyle, vehicle usage)

• Present new and used vehicles, including features, options, and benefits

• Conduct test drives and confidently answer technical questions

• Negotiate and close sales in accordance with dealership policies

• Ensure thorough follow-up until vehicle delivery

• Collaborate closely with the finance, service, and delivery departments

• Perform proactive customer follow-ups (calls, emails, CRM) to maximize sales opportunities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram products, promotions, and market trends

• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and promotional events

• Adhere to ethical, legal, and compliance standards within the automotive industry

• Assist the Sales Director with various tasks

• Ensure vehicles are clean, well-presented, and properly parked

• Participate in lot and vehicle cleaning during the winter season

Required Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive sales

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Proven negotiation and closing abilities

• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills

• Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset

• Comfortable using computer tools and CRM systems

• Valid driver’s license

Assets

• Knowledge of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram products

• Bilingual (French and English)

• Experience selling new and used vehicles

• Experience in vehicle appraisal

• Excellent memory and strong logical reasoning skills
